Your stopover at the Aguinane Oasis will remain a highlight of your trip before heading to the desert ( Iriki National Park<\/a> for example). In Aguinane, we recommend a walking tour of the Oasis by following the seguias – water pipes then returning by the bed of the Oued. Don’t hesitate to ask someone to show you the water retention basins, the water clock and the water distribution system.<\/p>\n

The Aguinane Oasis is an incredible stopover because the village is a haven of tranquility and offers breathtaking landscapes.You have paths on both sides of the gorges for a hike at altitude (unforgettable photo shoot).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

How to get there:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Option 1 – From Agadir, head in the direction of Taroudant – Taliouine (Capital of Saffron) via the N10 road. When you have passed Taliouine, turn right at point: 30.471271, -7.842794 and continue on the P1743 road to the Akka Ighane Oasis (<\/span><\/span> 29.994823, -7.529454) . In<\/span> Akka Ighane, head north for the Aguinane Oasis where you can spend the night (30.206741, -7.561984). Do not miss the fortified village of Adkhs<\/a> : 30.124472, -7.464598). You arrive at the Aguinane Oasis via a series of superb gorges.<\/span><\/p>\n

Option 2 (4×4) – which will allow you to reach Aguinane from the top of the valley with an exceptional viewpoint over the Oasis.<\/span> Departing from Agadir, head in the direction of Taroudant – Taliouine (Capital of Saffron) via the N10 road. When you have passed Taliouine, turn right at point: 30.471271, -7.842794 and continue along the P1743 road for 16 km. Then take the path veering to the left at point (30.366284, -7.760416) First cross a plateau for about twenty km (allow 1 hour). 5 km from Timedghart (30.272226, -7.602485) you will cross a pass and the path descends to the village. From there, you have about 10 km (30 minutes) drive left along a plateau to a pass near the village of Asrargh. 2 km remain on the mountainside (at very low speed) to Aguinane.<\/span><\/p>\n

Important point – itinerary: In the 2 proposed itineraries, you will pass near the granaries of Ifri<\/a> (30.444483, -7.839283). This is a mandatory visit!<\/p>\n
