THE WORLD MEETS AMAZIGH MUSIC<\/div>\n

In July, the city of Agadir hosts the Timitar – Signs and Culture festival, under the patronage of King Mohammed VI. Placed under the theme of a meeting between world music and Amazigh music, this festival offers many shows on three stages spread over the Municipality of Agadir (Place Al Amal, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre De Verdure, Place Al Wahda).<\/p>\n

These stages animated by more than 400 artists from Morocco and elsewhere, receive more than a million festival-goers during the four days of this event with the programming of widely varied musical styles. The traditional troupes, heirs to ancestral and popular Amazigh musical art, launch the festivities every evening, as an invitation to artists from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Each edition also provides for meetings related to the promotion and transmission of Amazigh artistic heritage, musical awakening workshops and other activities with the support of the urban municipality of Agadir, the region of Souss-Massa, the wilaya of Souss-Massa, the Moroccan National Tourist Office and the Agadir Hoteliers Association.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
