TRADITIONAL KNOW-HOW<\/div>\n

In Tiznit, making silver jewelry is a craft that is passed down from generation to generation. The jewelers and craftsmen of Tiznit have developped a sharp know-how on fibulas, adornments, crowns, necklaces, bracelets, daggers and silver cases\u2026.<\/p>\n

Tiznit organizes each year the “Timizart” festival dedicated to this know-how. The purpose of the event is to showcase local craftsmanship, especially the manufacture of silver jewelry, which is very well known in the region, and to promote cultural tourism in the city of Tiznit. It doesn’t have a fixed date but it’s usually the end of July. Exhibitors from many cities in Morocco: Guelmim, Assa, Chichaoua, F\u00e8s and Meknes, present their collection of jewelry and silver objects alongside the artisans of Tiznit.<\/p>\n

Finally, fashion shows: traditional clothes and jewelry in silver are organized there as well as evenings with national and international artists and folklore.<\/p>\n
