You will find this square-shaped minaret resembling the Hassan Tower of Rabat, in Ait Rahal north of Akka (on the road to Imitek).<\/em> The magnificent minaret of the old \u2033 Lalla Baytou Allah \u2033 mosque of the Kasbah of Agadir Amghar takes you back to the time of the Almohad dynasty (12th century).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Akka was once known as a political and religious center near the mining and caravan town of Tamdoult.<\/em> This large city, founded in the 9th century by the Idrissids, was a hub of the trans-Saharan trade in precious metals.<\/em><\/p>\n

How to get there:<\/em><\/p>\n

From Tata, take the N12 towards Akka. When you arrive in Akka, take an immediate right.
