The protection provided by the Souss Massa National Park is essential because all the species present in these reserves are now threatened with extinction.<\/p>\n<p>Only the <a href=\"\/les-circuits-du-parc-national-du-souss-massa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Massa Reserve<\/u><\/a> , an internationally renowned ornithological site (Ramsar) is open to the public at the mouth of the Oued Massa. It is a place of passage, wintering and nesting for more than 275 species of birds including the colony of bald ibis.
