The Valley of Sacred Fruits

The Cédrats Valley owes its name to a variety of large lemons, grown on the banks of this Oued (river). Citrus fruits are very popular with the Jewish population and the Berbers have continued the cultivation and exportation of these precious fruits.
How to get there:
From Agadir, take the airport road in the direction of Taroudant. After Sebt Guerdane, turn right towards the village of Assads (30.376455, -8.921305) then turn left at the point (30.352840, -8.930425). Proceed to Tourght then cross the village of Assads (30.201727, -8.859966), and continue along the trail towards the last village of Douar Tamguinsift where you will leave your car (impossible to go further).
Continue on foot by taking a small path along the irrigation canal (seguia). You just have to head southeast up the river (oued), until you find a dam and reservoir at the foot of the cliffs. The walk in the oued is a little over 3 kilometers and will take you 2 hours.
