Black Bass Fishing
Trip from Agadir: 1 hour / 60 km
Tamri’s Moulay Abdellah dam is a fairly young dam and the fish implanted in this dam can reach 60 cm. Threatened by commercial fishing, the black bass has gone into “no kill” in recent years and the fish population is doing very well, with very many young fish between 25 and 45 cm.
In this dam, very few species are present, there are the black-bass, the silver carp and the sun perch of impressive size. Fishing associations and authorities have pooled their thoughts to improve the growth of black bass. On this lake, a development policy for black-bass and tourist fishing is managed and the first fish of 60 cm and more are born, fish of 55 cm and more becoming more and more regular.
If the weather is cold, the fish wait for the sun to warm the water to appear. The fish come into activity at the end of the day, so you really have to stay focused until the end.
The areas to be favored are the points with the drop offs which constitute hunting areas and if the sun is shining, at the end of the day the shallow areas with seagrass beds can shelter pretty fish when the water has heated up. The lake is very calm and uncrowded.
- Day 1: Arrival in Agadir and transfer to accommodation in Tamri or near Tamri
- Day 2 and following: 6 am, departure to the water at the Moulay Abdellah dam. Full day of fishing with fishing and tourist support (fishing license, fishing equipment, guidance, packed lunch, etc.)
The program can be adapted according to the group’s requests by including other activities or to carry out itinerant circuits.
