Inland fishing in the Souss Massa
Trip from Agadir: 1 hour / 60 km
The Souss Massa region offers black bass fishing courses in unique landscapes. Very beautiful bodies of water are home to the most beautiful populations of black bass in Morocco, especially large specimens.
Fishing sites: Moulay Abdellah dam lakes (Tamri), Abdelmoumen Mouahidi (Taroudant), Ahl Souss (Ait Baha), Youssef ben tachfine (Tiznit)
The Souss Massa fishing routes are located within the Arganeraie Biosphere Reserve, a world heritage site recognized by UNESCO. The fishing trips offered are most often at the Souss Massa and Tamri National Parks.
For your information, in the following sites: the reservoirs of the Moulay Abdellah, Youssef ben Tachfine, Ahl Souss, Abdelmoumen Al Mouahidi and Oued Massa dams, any black bass caught in said environments, whatever its size, must be released immediately, free and alive, to the water at the very spot where it was caught.
All the fishing routes in the Souss Massa region are sites reserved only for No Kill “Catch and release” fishing. Fishing regulations require that any black bass caught must be immediately returned to the water alive.
The proposed fishing trips aim to offer a better tourist experience:
- Experienced fishing guides
- A relaxed atmosphere
- Thrills around the African Black Bass fishing activity
