Boilers – for experienced surfers
Journey from Agadir: 45 mins / 45 km
powerful right
South of the Cape Ghir lighthouse, the boiler of a stranded ship gives its name to this powerful right. A magnificent surf spot, the waves of Boilers are vertical, fast and benefit from an off-shore wind channeled by the relief. It is difficult to get in and out because of the sea urchins and sharp rocks. Try your luck behind the big rock north of the spot. The swell is always bigger than in Taghazout, so the peak is often crowded.
How to get there:
From Agadir, take the N1 going north (coastal road), the spot (30.624934, -9.878516) is just before Cape Ghir (lighthouse).
