Black Bass Fishing – Aït Baha Region
Journey from Agadir: 1 hour 30 mins / 80 km
In Aït Baha, the setting is different as the dam is long with vegetation on the banks. In places the edges are steep and it is a relatively deep, cold dam with areas of flooded woods. The black bass are generally less numerous than on the Moulay Abdellah Lake of Tamri but have, on the other hand, a very nice, average size.
Fishing can be done from the shore, but to explore this lake, the float-tube or the kayak can be two very appreciable tools. Mandatory fishing authorization is required and a guide is recommended. The daily permit costs 200Dh. Use soft lures which will be good for catching large fish in deadwood areas.
The program can be adapted according to the group’s requests and can include other activities or itinerant routes.
