Aglou Beach, on the coast road
Trip from Agadir: 2 hours
The village of Aglou is a 20 minute drive from the beautiful town of Tiznit. This coastal village owes its fame to its variety of landscapes: an ocean as far as the eye can see, terrain and sand dunes all around. From the surrounding cliffs, paragliding schools take off. It is a real spectacle that you can observe, from the north of the village of Aglou.
If your car allows it, the Coastal Track starting north of the Corniche: starting point (29.803593, -9.825241), arrival point (29.887351, -9.716392) allows you to discover breathtaking beaches, as well as beautiful areas of sand dunes shaped by the wind.
A walk on the beach, a ride on horseback, in a quad or even on the back of a camel are essential during a stay in Aglou. Beautiful coves sheltering fishing villages (29.667778, -9.982833) are also near Aglou. As for the caves of Aglou (29.812063, -9.828973), they are dug into the cliffs by former fishermen. Some are fitted out to make them accommodations facing the sea. The comfort is simple but the experience is unique.
