Surf Spots – Souss Massa
A pilgrimage for surfers since the 1970s, the famous point breaks of Souss Massa and their long straight lines appear in autumn and winter. Spring is slightly less regular and summer can be flat for long periods.
Surf Spot: Boilers
South of the Cape Ghir lighthouse, the boiler of a stranded ship gives its name to this powerful right. A magnificent surf spot, the waves of the Boilers are vertical, fast and benefit from an off-shore wind channeled by the relief.
Surf Spot : Anchor Point (La Pointe)

Surf Spot: Imsouane
Imsouane Bay (30.839026, -9.820027) is a surf spot north of Agadir Bay. A small modern fishing port has been built but the long and legendary straight lines of Imsouane Bay are still there. Here you will have the opportunity to ride waves for several hundred meters. It is the perfect place for an unforgettable surf lesson.
Surf Spot: La Source
La Source is a surf spot nestled between Killer Point and Mysteries-Anchor Point. Left and right . Watch out for the rocky slab at low tide, the spot is reserved for experienced surfers.
Surf Spot: Banana Point
Banana Point is a surf spot nestled between the mouth of the Tamraght wadi and a rocky point protecting from the north wind. A long right appears at the rocky point, and there is also a very good beachbreak for beginners.
Surf Spot: Devil’s Rock (Rocher du Diable)
Ideal for beginners and advanced surfers alike, the Devil’s Rock surf spot (30.506887, -9.688171) is a very beautiful beachbreak lacking in rocks with both left and right peaks.
Surf Spot: Desert Point
The Desert Point surf spot is a hollow and fast right which remains accessible to all levels. The bottom is made of sand and very flat rock slabs presenting no particular danger.
Surf Spot: Tamri Beach
The Tamri Beach surf spot is the alternative to the north coast of Agadir because it captures the swell much more than the spots further south (Anchor Point, Killer, Boiler). Please note that the wind direction is often onshore.
