What is the point of this visit to the cooperative? Making cooperatives work promotes human development and the empowerment of women in the region. Many crafts and local products cooperatives were created in the region and contribute to the enhancement of ancestral know-how and several local products typical of the region are produced ( argane , saffron, etc.).
Thanks to this form of organization in a cooperative and to the quality standards respected, the products of the cooperatives have spread nationally and internationally. This component of the social economy has enabled the rural population of the region, in particular women, to flourish and to secure income for their families and those around them.
