From Agadir, take the R105 road towards Biougra – Ait Baha. In Ait Baha, cross the city center and head in the direction of Tanalt. At point: 30.038816, -9.232544, take the road to the left towards the palm grove of Targua N’Touchka (in the middle of the mountains) then continue towards Tanalt, finally arriving at Tafraoute. There is also, around Ait Baha, the possibility of visiting collective granaries: Imchguiguiln 30.094359, -9.164338 Ikounka 30.113939, -9.200916 Inoumar 30.163250, -9.108944 Ait Alla 30.148350, -9.179983

In Tafraoute , you can quickly visit the city center (weekly souk: Wednesdays), the painted rocks (29.672352, -8.972628) or the Gorges d’Ait Mansour (29.547784, -8.873434). After lunch, take the R107 road towards Izerbi – Igmir. After crossing a plateau, you have a long descent to the village of Igmir then Tamanarte. At the junction with the R102 road, turn left towards Icht to find your accommodation. Another option: head in the direction of Amtoudi (29.246776, -9.184962) and spend the night there.

From Amtoudi or Icht, join the R102 then head in the direction of Ait Ouabelli via the N12. In Ait Ouabelli, turn left (29.229168, -8.535435). This route will take you to Tadakoust (a typical village at the foot of the rocks). You have the possibility of coming back via a trail which will start on your right (29.229168, -8.535435) along the mountain range. You will arrive at Icht – entrance to the Borj Biramane hostel. This trail can be a good playground. Everyone can find something there ( oasis , mountains, tracks, hiking or mountain biking) There are rock carvings in the Tadakoust area. For engravings northwest of Icht, depart from Borj Biramane (Icht), head up the paved road – northbound for 190 meters to find a trail on the left which takes you to the dam (4.3 km). Ask the guard to point them out to you on the right bank of the Oued. For the engravings located to the northeast of Borj Biramane (Icht), set off on foot and follow the slope of the mountain located to the east of the camp rising north, northeast. These engravings are quite difficult to find as they are located quite high up the slope.

From Icht, take the R102, heading in the direction of Tafraoute. You have the possibility of visiting the Gorges of Ait Mansour nearby and to return by the Zaouia of Timgdicht . You can also visit the city, the village of Aday and the Valley of Ammeln then depart to stop at the Kasbah of Tizourgane and discover the beauty of the mountains of the Country of Ida Ougnidif. There is a second option from Icht by taking the N12 to Akka, then heading in the direction of Imitek via the P1803. Turn left on the R109 towards Issafen (weekly souk: Thursday) where you will find on your left (29.849977, -8.530283) the road which will bring you back to Tafraoute. You will pass by Agadir Tasguent.
