Discover the Oued Massa

Sidi R’bat (30.085687, -9.663549) and Sidi Binzarne are 2 localities which are located at the mouth of the Oued Massa (migratory birds observation area ), about 60 kilometers south of Agadir in the direction of Tiznit. In the heart of Souss Massa National Park, enjoy the immensity and calm of a beach that is several kilometers long: visit the National Park, walk, swim, surf and fishing are all on the program.
In the village of Sidi R’bat (30.085687, -9.663549), simply continue the path that leads to the right after the hostel “La Dune” to reach the troglodyte fishermen’s houses facing the sea otherwise follow the beach by turn left towards Sidi Binzarne and the mouth of the oued (30.073841, -9.666693) to discover the ornithological circuit (take a guide from the local sustainable tourism cooperative).
The mouth of the Oued Massa ( RAMSAR Zone of the Souss Massa National Park ) is located 800 meters southwest of the village of Sidi R’bat. This nature reserve is particularly impressive at sunrise and sunset. The entrance on the Sidi Binzarne side offers parking at point: 30.057097, -9.654601. All around the mouth of the Oued Massa, the vegetation that has developed serves as shelter for many birds during the winter. How to get there:
From Agadir take the N1 coastal road (south towards Tiznit) and turn right at point (30.047607, -9.565633). Go down to the village of Sidi R’bat.
