Surf Spots – Souss Massa

Surf spots preserved all along the coast

Location: Souss Massa region

Natural heritage
The quality of the waves offered throughout the region constitutes a real tradition which attracts surfers from all over the world to  Agadir / Taghazout / Imsouane.
All the surf spots in Souss Massa have information panels and basic equipment to keep the places clean. The information panels installed at the main spots will allow you to know the optimal conditions of each spot (best tide, direction of the swell and wind, sandy bottom or rocks, and nearby spots).

Incredible surf conditions from September to March

The prevailing winds blow from the northwest to the northeast but as soon as the wind comes in an easterly direction, the whole region starts to have fantastic waves and surf quality.

The main spots are concentrated around cities like Agadir and Taghazout leaving miles of empty coastline, especially in the south, open to discovery and exploration.

Water temperatures range from 16 to 22 ° C / 61 to 72 ° F. Spring is slightly less regular (windy period) and the summer season can be flat for long periods.

A plan B for stays in poor waves

The Plan B circuit for surfers is a 2/3 day itinerary aimed at surfers who do not have favorable surf weather in Agadir Bay. Discover Tamri and the magical Bay of Imsouane by heading north.

Go on an adventure in the Paradise Valley (hikes / natural pools) then head south towards a wilder coast and more confidential spots . Maybe you will find some secret waves there?
