Day 01

Follow the N1 (coastal road heading north) towards Essaouira. Pass Tamri and its banana plantation then in the town of Imsouane , turn left (30.843972, -9.764011). Sumptuous viewpoint over the Bay = 30.835405, -9.800349 (photo required). Continue to the fishing village of Imsouane and its majestic bay. The protected bay is an ideal surf spot for beginners. Book your lessons with the various schools in the village. Take a lunch break at the fish restaurants at the harbor and the pier. If the bay lacks waves, another less sheltered spot is located on the other side of the point: Cathedral (30.842582, -9.821871). Many accommodations are possible in Imsouane.

Day 02

Many walks are possible along the coastal area and around Imsouane (on foot, by bike, 4×4). You are here in the Arganeraie Biosphere Reserve . Choose your mountain or your trail, nature is yours to behold. The North of Imsouane is more advisable because it offers more possibilities (flora, fauna, fossils) Suggested starting point for your walk is (30.848084, -9.817661) Take the trail and start your adventure. You will see many fossils (30.867795, -9.810571) and you may be lucky by staying on the northbound coast to come across a colony of I bis Chauves , the emblematic bird of Souss Massa.

Day 03

Cycling / mountain biking activity:
From Imsouane, head towards the Prince Moulay Abdellah dam (30.815549, -9.769206) following the fishing route signs. For the bravest, the climb from Imsouane is a real challenge. If you want to keep your strength, take your car to the point ((30.815549, -9.769206) and get on your bikes there. When you get to the dam, you can enjoy a trail that runs along the lake. Round trip is about thirty kilometers.
After lunch (grilled fish on the jetty for example), take the southbound coastal road N1 towards Tamri which is an accessible surf spot. When arriving from Imsouane, go past the mouth of the river and turn right (30.708030, -9.855776) down the sandy path. Just south of Cap Ghir (30.625932, -9.874775), take advantage of the Boilers car park, to climb to the top and enjoy the panorama out across Agadir Bay. In the evening, make your way back to Taghazout and enjoy some time at the skatepark (30.548153, -9.713136) There are many accommodations / restaurants and surf schools in this area.

Day 04

From Agadir, head in the direction of Taroudant, then follow the P1006, P1708 and P1727 roads for AFENSOU (30.714668, -8.789356). Remember to contact the service providers on site to organize your mountain biking – Trekking – 4×4 outings. You can sleep either in Taroudant (visit of the Medina / Ramparts tour) or in Imoulass / Afensou to enjoy the magic of this valley. Build up your strength and conserve your energy because trekking is for tomorrow.

For this day, return to Agadir with the possibility of a mountain bike ride around the mouth of the Massa (Parking Sidi Binzarne 30.057097, -9.654601 – Sidi wassay – Sidi R’bat) or a relaxing / surfing day in the village of Tifnit ( 30.200124, -9.641240).
