Day 01

From Agadir, take the R105 road towards Biougra-Ait Baha. Cross the city center of Ait Baha and head in the direction of Tanalt. At point: 30.038816, -9.232544, take the road to the left towards the Palmeraie de Targua N’Touchka then continue towards Tanalt to eventually arrive at Tafraoute. Our tip: At the beginning of the year, you will see the Amelnn valley with its almond trees in bloom.

Day 02

In Tafraoute, you have the possibility visiting the painted rocks of Aguerd Oudad or the Gorges of Ait Mansour in the morning. After the lunch break, take the R107 road towards Izerbi. 40km after Tafraout, turn left on the road and head towards Icht (via Igmir Smougen). After crossing a plateau, there will be a long descent to the village of Igmir, then finally you will arrive in the valley of Tamanart. At the junction with the R102 road, turn left towards Icht to find your accommodation. Another option = If you have 3 or 4 hours left before nightfall, you can visit the Amtoudi granaries (29.246776, -9.184962) before returning to Icht.

Day 03

From Icht, there is the possibility of visiting the granaries of Amtoudi in the morning (allow 5 hours total, including 2 hours of travel) before returning to Icht and continue on to Tata via the R102. Here you will have the possibility of visiting in and around Akka (its Palm grove, the Village of Ait Rahal and the Minaret of the old mosque , not to mention a visit to the village of Agadir Ouzrou built on the cliff). You can visit a beautiful site of rock carvings about 4 km after Akka (turn right towards Oum El Alek: 29.370861, -8.200778). The 2nd option will take you from Akka, northbound towards Imitek. On this route, you will see a geological feature: areas of Karst where the rocks look like giant fingers. You will then arrive at Tata via the R109.

Day 04

In Tata, you have the possibility of strolling through a veritable oasis belt around the city.
There are several possible choices in store: To the south of the city, several oases have surprises in store for us, such as the Mellah de Tazarte and its view of the old village and its palm grove.
North of Tata, in Agadir Lehna, you will discover the ancestral techniques of water collection (khettaras) and management (clepsydra), secrets of the fragile balance of oasis life. When you leave Tata, after lunch, head in the direction of the Oasis of Tlata Tagmoute via the P1805 (northbound).
You will be able to discover a true treasure of the region: the village of Ait Kine : 30.024216, -8.181933. After your visit, follow the R109 road towards Taroudant. Here you can visit the Oasis of Tioute before arriving in Taroudant.

Day 05

In Taroudant, book your day to visit the city (2 souks in the medina, a rural souk on Sunday, a beautiful medina, tanneries, several palaces, the Claudio Bravo museum ). A horse-drawn carriage ride will make you admire several kilometers of walls and the many gates of Taroudant. From Taroudant, for your return, head south to catch up with the N10 towards Agadir.
